Svoji historii sah\u00e1 a\u017e do roku 1923, kdy byl zalo\u017een pod n\u00e1zvem TJ Sokol Zl\u00edn. Po druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lce se klub p\u0159ejmenoval na TJ Spartak Zl\u00edn a v 90. letech 20. stolet\u00ed se stal jedn\u00edm z p\u0159edn\u00edch reprezentant\u016f \u010desk\u00e9ho futbalu. V roce 2007 se stal sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed skupiny CSC, kter\u00e1 se stala nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm akcion\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdm spole\u010dn\u00edkem klubu a p\u0159inesla mu novou \u00e9ru profesion\u00e1ln\u00edho fotbalu.<\/p>\n<p>V sou\u010dasnosti se CSC Zl\u00edn \u0159ad\u00ed mezi kluby, kter\u00e9 se pravideln\u011b \u00fa\u010dastn\u00ed nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed \u010desk\u00e9 sout\u011b\u017ee, Gambrinus ligy. Od sezony 2023\/2024 se klub nach\u00e1z\u00ed v ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti tabulky, ale historicky pat\u0159\u00ed mezi kluby, kter\u00e9 dok\u00e1zaly v minulosti dos\u00e1hnout v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch \u00fasp\u011bch\u016f. V roce 2006 se z\u00fa\u010dastnil fin\u00e1le \u010desk\u00e9ho fotbalov\u00e9ho poh\u00e1ru, kde v\u0161ak vypadl s Viktori\u00ed Plze\u0148. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b, v letech 1997 a 1998 vyhr\u00e1l klub \u010desk\u00fd poh\u00e1r, co\u017e je dosud jedin\u00fd v\u00fdznamn\u00fd trofejov\u00fd \u00fasp\u011bch v jeho modern\u00ed historii.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00fdznam CSC Zl\u00ednu nelehce podce\u0148ovat. Klub m\u00e1 tradici a z\u00e1rove\u0148 se sna\u017e\u00ed udr\u017eet se na vrcholn\u00e9 \u00farovni \u010desk\u00e9ho fotbalu. Zl\u00edn je nejen fotbalov\u00fdm m\u011bstem, ale tak\u00e9 s\u00eddlem v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch instituc\u00ed, kter\u00e9 se pod\u00edlej\u00ed na rozvoji sportu. Od roku 2007 se klub nach\u00e1z\u00ed v centru m\u011bsta, kde se nach\u00e1z\u00ed i hlavn\u00ed stadion, kter\u00fd pojme p\u0159es 10 000 div\u00e1k\u016f. Stadion je modern\u011b vybaven\u00fd a \u010dasto host\u00ed dom\u00e1c\u00ed z\u00e1pasy, ale tak\u00e9 v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed utk\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/p>\n<h2>Historie a v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 \u00fasp\u011bchy<\/h2>\n<p>FC Zl\u00edn m\u00e1 bohatou historii, kter\u00e1 je spojena s n\u011bkolika v\u00fdznamn\u00fdmi momenty. V roce 1997 a 1998 vyhr\u00e1l \u010desk\u00fd poh\u00e1r, co\u017e je nejv\u00fdznamn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed trofej v jeho dosavadn\u00ed historii. V roce 2006 se z\u00fa\u010dastnil fin\u00e1le \u010desk\u00e9ho fotbalov\u00e9ho poh\u00e1ru, kde v\u0161ak prohr\u00e1l s Viktori\u00ed Plze\u0148. V letech 2000 a 2001 se klub z\u00fa\u010dastnil play-off o udr\u017een\u00ed v Gambrinus lize, kde v\u0161ak neusp\u011bl.<\/p>\n<p>V minulosti se klub pod\u00edlel na n\u011bkolika v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch ud\u00e1lostech, jako nap\u0159\u00edklad na utk\u00e1n\u00ed proti reprezentaci \u010ceskoslovenska v roce 1972, kde Zl\u00edn hr\u00e1l na dom\u00e1c\u00edm h\u0159i\u0161ti. Na stadionu, kter\u00fd se nach\u00e1z\u00ed v centru m\u011bsta, jsou k dispozici modern\u00ed tribuny, kter\u00e9 umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed div\u00e1k\u016fm p\u0159\u00edjemn\u00e9 zhl\u00e9dnut\u00ed z\u00e1pas\u016f. V r\u00e1mci klubu jsou tak\u00e9 k dispozici tr\u00e9ninkov\u00e9 haly a speci\u00e1ln\u00ed tr\u00e9ninkov\u00e9 plochy, kter\u00e9 umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed p\u0159\u00edpravu hr\u00e1\u010d\u016f v r\u016fzn\u00fdch podm\u00ednk\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<p>V posledn\u00edch letech se klub v\u011bnuje tak\u00e9 rozvoji ml\u00e1de\u017enick\u00fdch t\u00fdm\u016f, kter\u00e9 se pravideln\u011b \u00fa\u010dastn\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00fdch sout\u011b\u017e\u00ed. Zl\u00edn m\u00e1 tak\u00e9 dobr\u00e9 vztahy s m\u00edstn\u00edmi \u0161kolami a univerzitami, kter\u00e9 spolupracuj\u00ed na v\u00fduce a p\u0159\u00edprav\u011b nov\u00fdch talent\u016f.
